Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
(Version 2018AUG30)


Products and Service are subject to SCI schedule and availability.  All sales are final once appointment confirmation is generated (provided at time of booking), proposal acceptance confirmation is generated (provided at time of online proposal acceptance) or confirmation of sale is provided for product or Service purchases.  


Should you need to reschedule or cancel any appointment or Service, the following policy applies.


Rescheduling or cancellation notices are to be remitted through electronic communications only.  Date of electronic notice to SCI will be date of cancellation.  Notice of cancellations left on voice mail or verbally provided will not be processed.


You can remit electronic notification by submitting notice through;

  1. this Sites via the Contact pages (click here for stromden.com, click here for sideb.io) 
  2. your appointment cancel/reschedule function (differs between e-mail/calendar client software, Outlook, for example)
  3. e-mail your account representative



Regarding Online Booking Appointment;

  • Appointments will only be cancelled once electronic notice is received.  
  • You will be refunded the product cost less a 25% cancellation fee if cancellation is received with 7 day or greater notice.
  • You will be refunded the product cost less a 50% cancellation fee if cancellation is received with less than 7 days notice.
  • No-shows that are not rescheduled will not be refunded any portion of the product cost.


How to Reschedule an Online Booking Appointment;

  • We understand that, from time to time, appointments may need to be rescheduled.  To check availability, please contact your assigned SCI Consultant or check availability through your appointment confirmation e-mail's reschedule button.  A $250 fee will be charged for appointments rescheduled with less than 72 hour notice.


Regarding NOW! Services;

      • Stromden NOW! one time payments are non-refundable.  However, if a Stromden consultant is not available to provide services, a full refund will be  provided.


Regarding Sidebar, Search Engine & Atlas Recurring Services;

  • Stromden recurring billing programs are month to month and can be cancelled at anytime after first month. Unsuccessful billing attempts will result in services cancellation.
  • Consulting time not utilized within a calendar month does not rollover.
  • A minimum 30 day cancellation notice is required.
  • Recurring programs provide designated hours of consultation services within a calendar month during regular business hours only (8:00a-6:00pPT).  Adjusted hours are available for non-US based Clients.
  • For cancelled annual programs (regardless of billing terms), due to the discounted rates provided for annual program Clients, cancellations will not be retroactive and refunds will not be available.  Any annual program cancelled prior to twelve month billing cycle will incur an early cancellation fee equal to the difference between month to month pricing and annual plan pricing.  Please contact your SCI Representative for additional support.


Regarding Director Services; 

      • Stromden Director recurring billing programs are month to month and can be cancelled any time after initial term commitment is met.
      • Initiation Fees are non-refundable and are in addition to initial term and monthly recurring charges. 
      • A minimum 30 day cancellation notice is required.
      • Recurring programs provide designated hours of consultation services within a calendar month during regular business hours only.
      • Hours do not roll-over. 



Regarding Project Based Services;
      • Cancellation terms for project based services are per the Master Services Contract only.  Please refer to your Master Services Contract or contact your Stromden representative for additional information.
      • Initiation Fees are non-refundable and are in addition to project fee total.



Regarding sideb Program Services; see Program Services Agreement.



Regarding Product Purchases; 

      • SCI and Company will mutually develop and approve product delivery timelines based on resource availability.
      • For products that have internal Company dependencies, those resources will be identified prior to Stromden starting work on the product.
      • Product delivery timelines effected by Company resourcing issues may delay product delivery and be subject to a 15% timeline revision fee.
      • If a product delivery timeline is stalled for more than 14 days, Company will incur a 15% timeline revision fee automatically and agrees to pay fee without offset as billed by Stromden.
      • Projects stalled for 21 days or more may be subject to automatic termination by Stromden and subject to a 25% early termination fee.



Regarding Ask Me Anything registrations or other limited availability events;

Due to space being limited, Ask Me Anything "AMA" session purchases are not refundable. If you are unable to attend a session, please contact Stromden at +1 (949) 743-3395 or accounting@stromden.com.



Changes to Terms

SCI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms of this policy. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. SCI encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
